VIS Annual Meeting at Melville Academy Museum at 4:00pm & Annual Picnic at Centennial Park at 5:30pm.

The JCVIS is planning, as of June 15th, to hold as usual its annual business meeting in Melville Academy Museum on Sunday August 22 at 4 PM. 2021 will be the 115th Annual Meeting of this society organized in 1906. This is a chance for people who are not members of the JCVIS to get better acquainted with the operations of this civic organization, to meet its Board of Directors, and to learn about the current needs of the organization. It’s a great way to introduce oneself to friends and neighbors. It’s an opportunity to become a member and a volunteer. Occasionally there is business that requires a vote, such as electing the next year’s slate of officers, and only members may vote on these matters.

The annual Centennial Park Picnic will follow. In case of rain, the picnic will move to the Horsesheds.
